Temporary Traffic Lights
We can provide 2, 3 or 4 way temporary traffic light setups; inclusive of a pedestrian crossing, if required. WSW will handle every stage of the process for you. This will begin with the production of any required TM plans, followed by the application for a highway licence with the relevant authority. Upon approval, we will set out all signage and temporary signals to Chapter 8 standards, on the day you have chosen for the works to begin.
Please note, to obtain a highway licence, the following minimum notice periods to the local authority apply:

Road Closures
For some works, a full road closure is the most appropriate solution. Again, we will handle this entire process for you, ensuring a professional TM plan is produced that showcases how traffic will be diverted most efficiently. On the day the work is scheduled to begin, all relevant signage will be in the correct location, ready for you to get started.
Please note, to obtain permission for a road closure, 30 working days (6 weeks) notice is required by the local authority.
